An oversized, zip-front, hooded work jacket cut from yarn-dyed, organic cotton, indigo denim with a sumi overdye. Features an adjustable hood, a two-way YKK zipper, and large hand pockets at the waist with curved openings. Generous proportions combine with the density of the cloth for a lightly structured silhouette while ribbing at the cuffs and hem provide gentle shaping, to produce bloused volume. Constructed using fine, single needle, flat felled seams throughout for a long lasting, encased finish.

The Sumi Organic Denim is woven in Hiroshima from and bio-washed to impart a soft yet dense hand before it is overdyed using a combination of binchotan charcoal and sumi ink. Ubame Oak is carbonzied for several days to produce high-grade binchotan charcoal and mixed with sumi ink to produce a uniquely rich variation in tone throughout the cloth that develops with age. Dyed at a small-scale mill operated by two people, consistency is achieved with practice and a keen eye.
