An updated version of MAN-TLE's long standing button-front over shirt cut from MT-Wax cloth in dark brown with fine striping in light brown and ecru. Features a narrow classic collar, a left breast pocket, the signature military-style button closure, a clean finished rear yoke with bi-swing pleating set against the armhole, and a flat hem. The "New" edition features a wider, more relaxed fit through the chest and shoulders to better accommodate under layers and lend a slightly more utilitarian edge. Constructed using french seams throughout for a long lasting, encased finish; military style buttons threaded onto nylon seatbelt tape throughout. 

MT-Wax cloth is a high density, midweight plain weave, woven for MAN-TLE in Shizuoka using a mix of Australian and American cottons. After weaving it is treated with a baked paraffin wax finish in Fukui, resulting in its trademark rigid dense hand. With wear and washing the waxed coating softens, shaping to the body and becoming more papery in texture.
